A Complete Guide to Travelling to Bali in April

The month of April is regarded as the “peak season” for the tourists, which means that it will be highly crowded upto the brim just after the transitional phase of March. As a result, the pressure of tourists during this time becomes unbearable. April is the middle of the summer season and thus it is the best time to go for surfing and also, the nightlife of Bali will be the most vibrant during this time. The only problem that comes into play is that due to this excessive number of incoming tourists, the hotel tariffs and air fares increase with leaps and bounds totally exceeding any limits. As a result, reaching there and staying there becomes very expensive.

2) Purnama Kedsa – An invite to heavenly beings

Estimated dates – 7th April

It is one of the most popular festivals in Bali which occurs upon a full moon. The Balinese Hindus celebrate this festival with incredible celebrations with the belief that God descends upon the Earth to bless the inhabitants of the archipelago. Thousands of devotees flock to “Besakih,” the mother temple for the holy ritual of “Betara Tarun Kabeh.” It is an invitation for calling upon the deceased ancestors and gods on the earth.

Nonetheless, the excellent vibrancy of the nature of Bali in April would surely make it a dream destination for anyone to visit the archipelago. No special mention of any place is necessary since all the tourist spots in Bali would be equally crowded and attractive during this month.
