1. Singapore Zoo
Regarded as one of the best zoos in the world, the Singapore Zoo is spread across a vast area of 70 acres. It is a remarkable place offering natural habitat to over 3600 mammal, birds and reptiles. It is famed for housing the largest captive colony of Orangutans in the world. Another major highlight of this lush landscaped attraction is the Rainforest Kidzworld, a technicolour play area for the little ones.
2. Singapore Night Safari
World's first nocturnal zoo, Singapore Night Safari is located next to the equally popular Singapore Zoo. Housing more than 130 species of animals, it uses the open-concept enclosures or trams to take the visitors on a 45-minute commented tour of its nocturnal animals and habitats.
3. Singapore Oceanarium
The aquarium on Sentosa reopened in July 2025 as Singapore Oceanarium, after S.E.A. Aquarium closed for an expansion. It now holds around 100,000 animals across 800 species in 45 million litres of water, laid out over 22 zones. The walk-through shark tunnel and the Open Ocean tank, with its manta rays and giant groupers, are what most people come for. It is the one entry here that is not in Mandai.
4. River Wonders
River Wonders, renamed from River Safari in 2021, is the smallest of the four Mandai parks at 12 hectares and the only freshwater one. Its zones follow the Mekong, Congo, Nile, Ganges and Amazon, and it holds around 11,000 animals across 260 species. It is the only park here with giant pandas, and the Amazon Flooded Forest tank holds manatees.

5. Bird Paradise, Singapore
Bird Paradise opened at Mandai in May 2023 in place of Jurong Bird Park, and holds around 3,500 birds across 400 species over 17 hectares. Its eight walk-through aviaries each take a region, from the Antarctic penguin enclosure to Heart of Africa, the largest of them. Of the Mandai parks this is the one that works best in a morning, since most of it is walked rather than trammed.
