Alor Setar is busiest in the month of June, followed by September and March. These are also the most expensive months in terms of hotel bookings however you can save if you book in advance. The least expensive month is February. March through May is another season of high temperatures but mixed with humidity. The weather from June through August is comfortable with high temperatures that are quite warm. September through November has a nice balance of humidity and wind, accompanied by rains and snow. December through February is yet another perfect time for warm weather travelers, however, this time of the year is slowest for tourism.
