Temperature: 24°C to 33°C, with the sea around 28°C to 30°C.
Weather: Dry and sunny, almost rain-free from late December. Calm seas throughout.
Crowds: Highest of the year. Christmas and New Year need booking months ahead.
Tip: The window for the four-island tour, Phi Phi, the Hong Islands, and rock climbing at Railay while the limestone is dry.
