The Singapore International Jazz Festival is a popular jazz musical celebration held every year in the Lion City, featuring award-winning international sensations and local talent. Also known as SingJazz, this extravaganza is held yearly at the Marina Bay Sands and features the best of blues, jazz, and swing music from around the globe. Attended by more than twenty thousand music enthusiasts last year, the event has seen musicians like Grammy-winning Lalah Hathaway, Kamie Cullum, David Foster, Nik West, Soul II Soul, Incognito, and Lauryn Hill grace the stage in power-packed performances.

Spread over three days, the International Jazz Festival in Singapore brings 30 hours of soulful music and great dancing to all fans. With a wide menu offering cuisines from different parts of the world and an expansive bar, SingJazz has great food and beverage sections for revellers. The Jazz Festival has two main stages - The Main Stage at the Event Plaza and the Sands Expo and Convention Centre. The Main Stage allows entry to those aged seven years, and since the Sands Expo hosts the Late Show, which allows people of 18 years and above, it requires an ID prior to one's entry. First held in 2014, this festival is now an iconic event frequented by locals and tourists alike – the after-hours DJ party and performances are a must-watch!

Venue

The event is held at Marina Bay Sands, located at 10 Bayfront Avenue.

MRT: Take the Circle Line or Downtown Line to Bayfront Station. Take Exit C, D, or E to the Events Plaza or Sands Expo and Convention Centre.

Bus: Buses 97, 106, 518, 133, 502, 97E, 502A, 518A, NR1, and NR6 ply directly to the Marina Bay Sands MICE Bus Stand, outside the Sands Expo & Convention Centre.

River Ferry: Visitors can take the Singapore river ferry service to Bayfront South Jetty, and walk to the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, five minutes away. Tickets can be redeemed at any Singapore River Explorer jetty.

Taxi: The nearest taxi drop-off point is at the entrance of Sands Expo & Convention Centre.

Car: From the Ayer Rajah Expressway, Central Expressway, and Kallang-Lebar Expressway move to Marina Coastal Expressway, drive ahead to Marina Boulevard, and turn to Bayfront Avenue. Slide to Sheares Avenue and drive to the entrance of Sands Expo & Convention Centre.

Parking information: Three parking lots are available, with the nearest one at the South Entrance on Bayfront Link next to Sands Expo & Convention Centre. Complimentary parking is available on a minimum spend at Sands Theatre, The Shoppes, ArtScience Museum, or any Celebrity Chef restaurant.

Celebrations & Events at International Jazz Festival in Singapore

The Main Stage: The showstopper performances are held here, at the Main Stage of the Event Plaza. Open to children aged 7 and above, the shows are family-friendly and a great event to bring the whole family to. This show is usually held from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

The Late Show: The ultimate jazz DJ party is held at the Late Show, hosted at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre. Open to adults aged 18 and over, the Late Show features internationally acclaimed DJs and performers, replete with pulsing lights and a dazzling dance floor. Don’t miss the special R&B night here! A wide range of alcoholic beverages are also served. The Late Show usually begins at 10:00 PM and goes on till 4:00 AM.

Festival Village: Located at the Event Square by the bayfront, the Festival Village is a free venue where attendees can enjoy the shows while feasting on street food and great beer – the general public can visit the Village and take part in the SingJazz, free of charge!

Lanson Champagne Terrace: This exclusive terrace offers unmatched views of the stage, while champagne overflows at every turn. Indulge your fancies in this elegant club terrace and party in style!
