ZoukOut – Where did it all begin?

The ZoukOut Festival, organised by the Zouk Group in Singapore, began its annual journey as a humble one-night event in the year 2000. Zouk is a renowned nightclub in the Lion City which has been revered as the "Best Nightspot Experience" no less than six times in eleven years. Back when ZoukOut started, this festival only attracted around nine thousand interested people. However, it did not take long for the sensational festival to spread its branches and draw in more people from the global party scene. In no time, forty thousand people from every sphere of life were thronging in large groups, and ZoukOut went on to be one of the biggest music and dance festivals witnessed by Asia, with some of the biggest names of these industries gracing the stage. Its appeal has attracted such a huge mass of people that it has also been staged at an international level in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Boracay.
