Listed as one of the developed nations of the world in recent times, India is home to a number of buildings that seem to touch the sky. Mostly belonging to the metropolises of Mumbai, Chennai, as well as Kolkata, these buildings have been serving as major landmarks of their respective cities. The construction of the ginormous Imperial 3 has been going on since the year 2016 and is expected to reach completion in 2025. Imperial 3 is going to be one of the "green" highest buildings in India.

Number of Floors: A hundred and sixteen floors, with twelve of them being mechanical.

2. Three Sixty West Tower B, Mumbai

Currently under construction, the majestic Three Sixty West is a skyscraper that is comprised of two individual towers, linked to each other by a podium situated on the ground level. While the first tower, namely the Tower A, is set to be a luxurious hotel, the latter, popularly referred to as the Tower B, shall be a network of private residencies. The podium shall be home to a number of ballrooms as well as restaurants, among other facilities. This skyscraper is also referred to by other names, including Oberoi Oasis Residential Tower, Worli Mixed Use Development Tower B, Skylark Tower Building, and Oberoi Oasis Tower B. The construction of the building began in the year 2011.

3. Palais Royale, Mumbai

The first supertall skyscraper in the country to have been honoured as a leader of the Platinum rating by the Green Building Council, the magnificent Palais Royale has been under construction since 2008 and is expected to be completed by the year 2020. With a hundred and twenty apartments, spa, a cinema house, badminton court, cricket pitch, three swimming pools, as well as a football pitch, the floor area of the Palais Royale is about two thousand and three hundred meters.

4. Namaste Tower Mumbai

Yet to reach completion, the construction of the Brys Buzz was started in the year 2014. At present, it is set to have around two hundred and ninety apartments, along with eight hundred parking spaces. In addition, it shall also be home to a number of facilities for its residents.

6. Supernova Spira, Noida

Expected to reach completion in the year 2020, the Supernova Spira is a supertall skyscraper that shall be used for mixed purposes. The construction has been going on since 2012 and has achieved the honourable Gold rating from the reputed Green Building Council. Also known as the Spira as well as the Supertech Supernova, this structure is an important landmark of Noida.
Height: 300 meters, or 984 feet, approximately.
Type of Building: Residential as well as Commercial.
Number of Floors: Eighty floors.

7. Lokhandwala Minerva, Mumbai

Proposed to consist of two towers of the same height, the Lokhandwala Minerva has been under construction since the year 2010. Each tower shall be home to ten floors of parking spaces, two levels of World Class Amenities, five Podium Landscape Gardens with open roofs, a couple of banquet halls, two penthouses, and over sixty floors of residential spaces. The proposed project is set to reach completion by the last month of 2022.

8. World View, Mumbai

The panoramic views of the sprawling Sea Link, the alluring cityscapes, as well as the lush Mahalaxmi Race Course only make this place all the more mesmerizing.

The location of this skyscraper being in close proximity to the Willingdon Club as well as the Mahalaxmi Race Course makes it an appropriate place of stay. In addition, the Indian Sky Suites is also set to have a number of facilities, inclusive of a grand clubhouse, a jogging track, a food court, as well as a swimming pool, among many others.

The first residency is set to begin from the tenth floor, while the ones below them are to be used for other purposes.
