Taj Mahal and Agra Fort to Be Opened from Today And Here's All You Need to Know about It

Finally, we have some good news for the travellers of Agra. The long wait of 6 months is over as government decided to re-open Taj Mahal and Agra Fort for tourists from today i.e. 21st of September.

Details on Tourists Permissability

1. Taj Mahal

A total of 5000 tourists will be allowed inside the monument premises on a daily basis, 2500 of which will be 2:00 PM and the remaining after. The monument will remain closed on Fridays and Sundays

2. Agra Fort

A total of 2500 tourists will be allowed inside the monument premises on a daily basis. The monument will remain closed on Sundays

Precaution to Follow and Other Rules

  • Physical distancing is to be followed.
  • Regular sanitization of hands.
  • Masks are manadatory at all times.
  • All tickets must be purchased online through the ASI app. 
  • Electronic tickets to be provided to the visitors.
