Goa is About to Host A New Adventure Sport and We Are EXCITED
Goa, India's most favoured holiday destination just added another adventure sport to it's list and it's Bungee Jumping. We're excited and how!
The Department of Tourism of Government of Goa and Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) in association with Jumpin Heights, successfully established India's second bungee destination. It stands tall in North Goa at Mayem Lake. The magnificent lake now boasts of this adventure activity as a 55 meter-high Bungee jumping platform stands on it. The lake will now experience a higher footfall than usual.
Goa is one of the most popular tourist destinations and it was but natural that this adventure sport would step foot here. Adventure sports are also thriving in India at a large scale, but safety is always a hitch. The service provider has assured that safety has been kept on priority. They added that the team adheres to Australia and New Zealand Safety Standards for the operation of the Bungee Jumps.
Bungee jumping is an exhilarating activity which can bring you an adequate adrenaline rush and thrill you to the nerves. One jumps from a height with rubber chords toes around the ankles. One swings back and forth mid-air like a pendulum. With the wind in your face and noise of the wind literally ringing in the ears amidst all the silence, you swing with rebounds. It is safe as harnesses and checks are ensured before you take over this thrilling sport.

“I am extremely happy that Goa Tourism is working tirelessly to develop Goa as a premium tourism destination in India, especially for adventure tourism. Today the launch of Bungee Jumping and beautification of Mayem Lake adds a feather to the State tourism cap.
