1. Rambagh Palace

Located about 8 kms from the city centre of Jaipur, Rambagh Palace is one among the finest palaces of Jaipur. Once a residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur, today the palace has been converted into a luxury heritage resort with brilliant architecture, lighting and facilities.

Timings: Open 24 Hours
Entry Fees: INR 500 for Foreigners and INR 100 for Indians

2. City Palace

Located in Jaipur, The City Palace is the main palace from where the Maharaja reigned from. This palace in Jaipur includes the Chandra Mahan and Mubarak Mahal along with various other buildings within the complex. It is located towards the north-eastern side of Jaipur.

Timings: 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM (all days of the week)
Entry Fees: INR 75 for Indians, INR 100 for Foreigners and INR 40 for Children

3. Amber Fort Palace

Cradled on the top of the Aravali Hill and forming a beautiful reflection across the Maotha Lake, lies the Amber Fort. An architectural masterpiece and with significant reference in the Indian history, it is visited by over five thousand tourists daily. The Fort gives a mesmerizing view from the bottom of the hill when it is illuminated every evening.

Timings: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM to 9:15 PM
Entry Fees: INR 200 per Person

4. Narain Niwas Palace

Built by Thakur of Kanota, General Amar Singh, Narain Niwas Palace boasts of Anglo Indian style of architecture of the Victorian era. This is one of the palaces in Jaipur which has now been converted into a heritage home to give you a glimpse of the opulent royal lifestyle.

5. Jal Mahal Palace

Amidst the chaos of the city of Jaipur, lies the splendid Jal Mahal, or Water Palace. Floating in the centre of the Sagar Lake, this low rise symmetrical palace in Jaipur was once a shooting lodge for the Maharajas. This unique palace fascinates a large number of visitors from all over the world.

Timings: 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM other working days and 24 Hours open on Wednesday
Entry Fees: INR 10 for Indians and INR 50 for Foreigners

6. Hari Mahal Palace

Originally a residence of Rajadhiraj Hari Singh of the Achrol family in the 1930s, Hari Mahal Palace has now been partly converted into a heritage luxury hotel. The interesting factor is that half of this palace in Jaipur is still occupied by the members of the royal family.

7. Rajmahal Palace

Built in 1729, Rajmahal Palace is a symbol of love by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II for his wife. Briefly occupied by the British, this palace in Jaipur has now been restored and converted into a luxury stay. It still houses some of the ancient relics and royal chandeliers from the bygone era.

8. Hawa Mahal

The Hawa Mahal stands at the intersection of the main road in Jaipur, Badi Chaupad. It is regarded as the signature palaces of Jaipur and was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Hawa Mahal derives its name from its unique structure, which is a mesh of small windows that allowed cool wind to enter the palace and hence kept the palace comfortable during the hot summer months.

Timings: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (open all days of the week)
Entry Fees: INR 50 for Indians and INR 200 for Foreigners

9. Samode Palace

At a distance of around 56 kms from Jaipur, Samode Palace is a heritage palace cum hotel. A fusion of Muslim and Rajputana architecture, this palace in Jaipur also houses Sheesh Mahal or Hall of Mirrors. It is also surrounded by beautiful gardens which are a treat to the eyes.

Entry Fees: INR 1000 per Person for both Bagh & Palace

10. Shahpura Haveli

Originally built as a vantage point nearly 300 years ago, Shahpura Haveli was later converted into a magnificent fortress. This is another one of the palaces in Jaipur which has now been converted into a heritage home which boasts of Indo-Saracenic style of architecture. It is frequented by celebrities, politicians and other popular artists.
