For reference, if you’re in the main airport of the island or around Port Louis, hitching a ride on bus # 20 from Immigration Square which goes past Plaine Verte and Triolet to Trou aux Biches is probably your best option. If you are in Grand Baie, however, going on a 15-minute road trip will let you step out of your car into the beach in all comfort and leisure. The exact entrance to the beach, however, is located to the south of the hotel opposite the new police station and post office, and on the opposite side of the road to Casuarina hotel to the north of Trou aux Biches hotel.
