No, Her Fake Bali Pictures Weren't Photoshopped!

Natalia runs a successful Instagram feed, a YouTube channel and is an influencer. Natalia boldly showcased a 3-post series clicked in Ikea, the store located just a stone's throw away in her neighbourhood and faked it with a Bali, Indonesia location tag on her Instagram feed. Her photographer accompanied her and ensured a convincing frame replicating a hotel room.

Pulled It Off Like a Boss

The believability of the frames and captions will certainly make you scrutinize the pictures time and again. Her caption- "The queen has arrived" with a #Bali sure made it reassuring! Even though some fans had their magnifying glasses at work and spotted price tags, others breezily accepted the fact that she was indeed in Bali!

Natalia Faked It Until She Could Prove Her Point

Days passed with her Instagram world being convinced enough that she had head to Bali until she dropped the bomb of truth with her YouTube video. 'I faked a vacation at Ikea' revealing all the effort she put into getting those pictures right, earning over a million views.

She firmly spread a message through her vlog saying that it's imperative to not believe everything you see on the gram. She went on to say- " The point of this video is to see if you really can fake it till you make it."

Were Your Doubts Cleared?

Earning more than 2.5k comments on the same YouTube post, we found some intriguing comments that may or may not be convinced by her motto or purpose-
  • "Maybe she is tricking us into thinking that she was in Ikea when she was really in Bali... we can't trust anything on the internet."
  • "This is an actually good social experiment, no one gets hurt/distressed, it's based on reality, has good parameters & the only person made slightly uncomfortable is the creator."
  • "It didn't make any sense that you were posting so many indoor pictures being in such a dreamy place,"
  • "Plot Twist: The introduction part where she's filming in her room is actually Ikea in Indonesia."
We leave you with these bewildering comments, pondering if or not she actually went to Bali or not. But she sure raised her Instagram and YouTube stakes to a high! Intriguing scepticism on steroids for this one, right?

What do you think Natalia Taylor actually did? Leave us your reviews in the comments below!
