Cherry Blossoms Season Arrives In China Through Live Streaming; People Find Hope in Dark Times

Being one of the highly affected countries by the Corona Virus, China has confirmed over 80,000 cases and has seen the deaths of over 3,000 people. Amongst all the chaos, the people of China are experiencing the first bloom of Spring. Cherry Blossom trees are blooming around the Wuhan University and media channels are doing their part in spreading a little hope and positivity in China. They are bringing images of the blossom trees through live streaming for everyone to see during the quarantine period.

A Sign Of Hope During Quarantine

Wuhan University is known for having over 1,000 Cherry Blossom trees around the campus and these trees in full bloom attract tourists from all over the world every year. Unfortunately, the situation is different this year. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak and the university campus is closed, media channels are bringing a live stream of the bloom of Cherry Blossoms on the internet. The viewing is available every day from 10 AM to 4 PM till the 25th of March.

The initiative started on the 16th of March and has already reached millions of views. Media channels put their cameras around the campus to capture and live stream the bloom of the beautiful blossoms. Wuhan being a tourist spot, is not only famous for its Cherry Blossom Trees but also breakfast traditions and delicious noodles. And in this difficult period, the trees are like a ray of sunshine and positivity, bringing smiles on the faces of the locals.
