Detailed Itinerary
You will be picked up from Haridwar Railway Station or your designated location and driven to Barkot, a serene hill station at the foothills of Yamunotri. En route, you may visit Kempty Falls if time permits. Upon arrival in Barkot, check into your hotel or camp. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight stay in Barkot.
After an early breakfast, drive to Jankichatti (45 km) and begin the 6 km trek to Yamunotri. You may hire a pony or palki at your own expense (approx. ₹3000 for a pony, ₹8000 for a palki). Upon reaching Yamunotri, take a holy dip in the Yamuna River and perform pooja at the temple. Yamunotri is considered the source of the Yamuna River and is surrounded by breathtaking Himalayan scenery. Trek back to Jankichatti and return to Barkot. Dinner and overnight stay in Barkot.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Uttarkashi, located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River and known for its temples and ashrams. En route, visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
After breakfast, drive to Gangotri, where you can take a sacred dip in the Bhagirathi River and perform pooja. Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga, stands where the river is believed to have touched the earth, thanks to King Bhagirathi’s penance. After darshan and sightseeing, return to Uttarkashi. Dinner and overnight stay.
Check out after breakfast and drive to Guptkashi, a town of great religious importance near the Kedarnath shrine. Guptkashi is home to the Vishwanath and Ardhnareshwar Temples. Upon arrival, check into your hotel or camp. Dinner and overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, check out and leave your luggage at the hotel reception. Drive to Sonprayag, and from there take a local jeep to Gaurikund at your own cost. Begin the 19 km trek to Kedarnath. Ponies and palkis are available at personal expense (approx. ₹5000–₹10000). On arrival, check into basic accommodation due to the high altitude location. In the evening, attend the Sandhya Aarti and have darshan at the Kedarnath Temple. Dinner and overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Trek back to Gaurikund early in the morning and drive to Sonprayag, where your driver will be waiting. Coordinate timing in advance. From there, drive back to Guptkashi or Phata. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Badrinath via Joshimath and Pipalkoti. Upon arrival in Pandukeshwar or Badrinath, check into your hotel. If time permits, visit the famous Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and located at an altitude of 3133 meters. Take a dip in the Tapt Kund (natural hot spring) before darshan. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
If you couldn’t visit Badrinath Temple the previous day, do so today. After breakfast, drive to Rudraprayag or Srinagar via Karanprayag. Stop to visit sacred sites and take pictures en route. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Haridwar via Rishikesh. Explore spiritual landmarks such as Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Munni Ki Reti. Continue onward to Haridwar and get dropped off at the railway station or airport for your onward journey. Tour concludes with divine blessings and memorable experiences.
