Located at Petaling Jaya in Kuala Lumpur, the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park is a famous recreational park. It is popular for the Water Park, Scream Park, Wildlife Park, Amusement Park and Asia’s first ever Nickelodeon Theme Park located in its premise. Sunway Lagoon has set high standards by its unique style, providing an adventure-filled day along with dining spots and Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa. As the word ‘Lagoon’ means a small or artificial lake near the larger one, the park is made up of many such areas with a thrilling set of water rides like the FlowRider, The African Python, the six-lane slide known as Congo Challenge and the Cameron Climb.
Spread over a total area of 6,500 square meters, District 21 Kuala Lumpur is an indoor theme park, entirely adorned with metal beams, steel walls, suspended ropes, and chains. While visiting Kuala Lumpur with kids, do drop by here as kids have a great time enjoying the numerous kid-friendly rides like the merry-go-round, Low Ropes, which is a scaled-down rope obstacle course, and GoPedal, which is a pedal go-kart with a 100-meter long track. The theme park is completely geared with safety equipment such as safety helmets, knee pads and elbow pads.
The Berjaya Square indoor theme park has about 14 rides and divided into two differently themed areas - the Fantasy Gardens and the Galaxy Station. The Galaxy Station is located on the 5th floor and has 6 thrilling rides, each one of them for adults and children over 13 years of age only. The Fantasy Gardens located on the 7th floor is a colourful ‘garden avenue’ with 8 rides for kids and family. All of the rides are quite slow paced and leisurely making it suitable for children below 13 years of age too.
