The Petronas Twin Towers located in KLCC, Kuala Lumpur are twin skyscrapers with each tower standing 451.9 meters proud. These towers held the title of being the world’s tallest buildings until 2004 when Taipei 101 transcended over them.
Apart from the stunning architecture, the major attraction at Petronas Towers is the double-decker sky bridge, and the observation deck, which provides a magical aerial view of Kuala Lumpur, especially during late evenings when the city seems to be lit up almost magically.
While the Petronas headquarters fully occupy Tower 1, Tower 2 is left open for a limited number of visitors per day. The double-decker sky bridge which joins the 41st and 42nd floors of the two towers is about 170 meters above the ground level while the observation deck is located yet higher on the 86th level. The Petronas Twin Towers is also home to Dewan Filharmonik Petronas concert hall which is Southeast Asia's leading venue for classical music.
