The Italian Garden at Vizcaya Villa is a 10 acre European themed garden, which is reminiscent of the late seventeenth century Italy and France. The Formal Gardens resemble France’s Versailles with all of Europe’s aesthetic elements. Although the inspiration behind this garden was Europe, the Italian Garden has elements that blend with the sub - tropical surroundings as well. Lush mazes, trimmed shrubs, patterns with bushes, rare orchids, theatre garden, elaborate fountains and abundance of massive structures,geometric arrangements, all give the perfect blend of european and sub -tropical vibes.

Pinecrest Gardens is spread across 14 acres of lush botanical gardens with lots of family - friendly attractions. This garden features exotic tropical plants, water features, sinuous rock formations,native cypress slough, hardwood hammock, and various specialty gardens like a desert garden. With more than thousand species of tropical flora, Pinecrest Garden is one of Florida’s best botanical gardens and is a great place for all ages. Kids especially can have a great time at this garden, as there is a water feature, petting zoo, fish feeling, flashlight tours and a playground for them to enjoy. Located on Biscayne Bay, the Kampong is famous for housing more than fifty different varieties of mango and the best part is that one can even taste them! Named for the Malay or Javanese word for a ‘village’ or ‘cluster’ of houses, this lush tropical garden is one of the five gardens under The National Tropical Botanical Garden, located in Miami. Spread across six acres, The Kampong Planting Heritage collections from the Carribean, Central and South America and Southeast Asia, include exotic fruits and rare species of flora. Scientists from all over the world come to the Kampong to study their species of cyads, palms and flowering trees. The Kampong Garden organizes many walking tours, with experienced guides so one can get an in depth knowledge of the history associated with the garden.

At every corner of the garden, one can spot rare species of flora and fauna. From native and exotic plant species like palms, ferns, bromeliads, cycads and orchids, to rare species of butterflies and a rare african rainbow lizard. "

Ichimura is a traditional japanese garden, which was founded way back in 1958 by Kiyoshi Ichimura. It was built with an expectation of Cherry Blossoms blooming in Miami, but unfortunately those do not survive in Miami weather. So then this garden was filled with different varieties of Orchids. At present, this garden is a cultural hub, where various japanese festivals are celebrated along with educational classes as well. Unlike other gardens in Miami, Ichimura is a small one, and is free for the public.

Crandon Park is spread over an area of 200 acres of lush greenery. This garden is the original site of an abandoned zoo, Metro Zoo and at present houses different varieties of birds. This garden is not widely known among the people of Miami, so it qualifies as a ‘secret garden’.
