The airport has 4 terminals and each has its own variety of dining and shopping options as well as services that are available. The airport hosts corporate, recreational, government agency, and training activities with well equipped, modern, and efficient staff. This is a very small airport is located at a distance of 42.5 miles from the city of Miami but it is closer to Homestead. Covering an area of 960 acres, the airport has two paved and lighted runways and one Ultralight turf runway. In addition to the business aircraft, the airport also serves skydiving and gliding aspects of general aviation. If you are visiting the Key Largo for fishing or the Ocean Reef Club to experience some of the amazing coral reefs, it will be a 30 minutes drive to reach the Miami Homestead General Aviation Airport. Do not forget to book a flight to this airport the next time you are going on a leisure trip.

 5. North Perry Airport

North Perry airport, located at a distance of 20.8 miles from Miami, is a public airport that is mainly used for private and business aircraft activities. Covering an area of 536 acres with 325 aircraft, the North Perry Airport has four runways with an extensive flight training activity at the airport, a commercial banner-towing operator at the airport, and an Air Traffic Control Tower. Secluded from the crowded areas and the over-crowded airports, this airport has its own set of passengers and enjoys a peaceful environment. 
The airport is open for 24 hours. However, the Airport Administration is open from 7 am to 11 pm and the Air Traffic Control Tower operates from 7 am to 9 pm.
