Shaily Peak, Shimla Overview
The perfect destination for nature and adventure lovers, Shaily Peak, is located close to Mahakali Lake in Shimla and features dense green forests and rocky yet wide trails ideal for trekking. The top of the Peak, which is at a distance of 8km from the base Khatol and at an altitude of 9,400 feet, provides marvelous views of the green Shimla countryside and the distant snow-clad Himalayan ranges. It is an excellent spot for clicking pictures. Horse riding is a popular activity when visiting Shaily Peak, and the temple at the top is also open to the public.
