Lovely place to visit..the most amazing part, it's just 12 kms away from hustle bustle of Shimla.. One important point, try to have extra food stuff with you as much of the options are not available Great place if you are reaching by your own vehicle.

- Sightseeing is an extremely fulfilling and rapturing experience, but the places are a bit distant from each other. You might want to consider spending for the transportation.
- If you're on a budget, carry all basic products like water, dry foodstuff, toilet paper etc. with you. If you're staying at a low budget hotel, such amenities may not be readily available.
- Campers/hikers, make sure you have all permissions ready beforehand.

I only went to Mashobra for a day, but it was extremely fulfilling. The car ride from Shimla to Mashobra was stunning. The nature, the beauty, the weather and the pure air really washed all the city blues away. Once we reached, we opted to stay in tents. It was a very slopey ride from the main road to the resort. The food they served was basic North Indian food. The next morning, we rose early and went for a hike. It was one of the best walks I ever took. It didn’t require too much physical strength and offered extraordinary peace of mind. This trip proved to be very cheap as well. I would love to go back.
