Attractions and Things to Do at Oriental Village

Cable Car
The signature attraction of Oriental Village is the exhilarating cable-car ride to the top of Mount Mat Chinchang. It is Malaysia's longest cable car ride. What makes the 15-minute ride more enthralling are the dramatic views of Seven Wells Waterfall, the slopes of the magnificent mountain and the Langkawi mainland.

Cost: RM 55
The ticket price is inclusive of return fare and passes to the SkyRex, SkyDome and 3D museum.
The tickets can be purchased either from the ticket kiosk or online. 

Sky Bridge
The Sky Cab takes one to the 125-metre long Sky-Bridge. Standing at a height of 700 metres, the curved suspended bridge is a great point to click some amazing pictures. 

3D Museum
Spread over an area of 21000 square feet, the 3D Art Museum has over 100 interactive artworks making it a favourite among kids. 

Animal Farm
Set in the lap of nature, this cute little farm houses small animals like rabbits, deer, etc.

Langkawi Tiger Exhibit
The Tiger Exhibit is popular for housing tigress Zanah. See the tigress playing around or swimming in the pool from a very close range. The entry to the exhibit is free. The gallery also sells items like models and paintings for tiger.

Langkawi ATV/Quad Adventure
The All-Terrain vehicles offer amazing trails through the jungle and the beach.

Shopping

What’s better than going on a shopping spree after enjoying the scenic views at the SkyBride. Oriental Village is more of a themed open-air shopping complex with shops and stalls selling items like souvenirs, clothes, dolls, handicrafts, batik prints, footwear, accessories, etc. Shops occupy around 70% of the land in the village. Thanks to such high competition in the market, negotiating will help you get steal deals.

For the best deals at the shopping complex, it is advisable that you stick to kiosks and stalls because they offer better discounts than stores.

How to Reach Oriental Village

Oriental Village is located in western Langkawi in the Pantai Kok area. One can easily hire a cab/taxi from the Pantai Cenang beach. It will cost around RM 20 and take around 20 minutes to reach the village.
From the airport, it will take about 15 minutes and from the Kuah town, it will take around 45 minutes to reach Oriental Village.

If taking a cab to the village, make sure to hire for a round trip because it may get difficult to find a ride back owing to the great rush in holidays.
