Kasauli in Summer (April-June)

Summer season beings in March and lasts until June. The days remain pleasantly warm and the nights are cold. The temperature varies between a minimum of 14°C and a maximum of 27°C, making it extremely favourable for exploring the tourist attractions in the town. The season is also perfect for trekking, nature walks and bird watching as the natural vegetation thrives in the beautiful weather. And while there, one should also witness the colourful festival of Basant Panchami which is celebrated in March and is famous for the Kite Flying events held in the town.

Kasauli in Winter (October - March)

With the onset of winter in October, Kasauli attracts tourists in large numbers. The season goes on till March. The temperature ranges between 4°C and 19°C and therefore, experience chilly but enjoyable winters. During the peak season Kasauli sometimes also receives snowfall. While there, one may want to witness the famous festival of Lohri which is celebrated in January. Locals gather together to celebrate the harvest season with a bonfire, sacred offerings and enjoy the colourful folk dance and music.

Kasauli in Monsoon (July - September)

The season is the best time for outdoor activities. It begins in July and lasts until September. Although the town receives an average annual rainfall of about 1600 mm, they are intermittent and scanty. They thus create a magical ambience on the hilly terrain perfect for nature walks and treks. Also, one can catch the Sari Festival which is held every year in July.
