Summers is Jaisalmer can be very harsh and extremely hot due to it's proximity to the Thar Desert. The summer season begins from the month of April and continues till the month of August with temperature going up to 42°C. The perfect ending is given to the festival with the full moon reflecting on the beautiful sand dunes on the last night.
