Boasting of an expanse of vibrant trees and treehouses, Chuka Beach is located in the Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh. A nature haven famous for its lush forests, eco-tourism, and rare species of flora and fauna, one of the very few places that have remained undiscovered from the prying eyes of tourists, Chuka Beach allows you to rent treehouses and lets you enjoy the view of thick treetop. But unlike any other regular beach, you cannot sunsoak here or lay on the sands. But on the upside, if you’re a wildlife enthusiast, you might get lucky and spot some majestic Bengal Tigers, Foxes, and Jackals from the treehouses, which are just some of the examples of wild animals that are frequent visitors to the Tiger reserve.

After driving through a couple of miles of the dense forest scenery, you will find yourself at Chuka Beach. It is flanked by the Sharda Sagar Dam and Sharda Canal on either side in the area of the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve. The recently turned tourist attraction has tree houses, food stalls, and temples built to attract visitors. This strategy has worked as the number of people visiting the tranquil beach had started to increase in the months before the lockdown.

The town of Pilibhit sits on the Indo-Nepalese border and the Tiger Reserve lies on the outskirts of Pilibhit. The hidden Chuka Beach is further located within the Tiger Reserve at an hour’s drive from Bareilly.
