Partners & Mucciaccia, Singapore Overview

Partners and Mucciaccia is an art gallery that provides space to artists who work on images through innovation and create an extraordinary adventure and constantly emphasize the art. The Gallery opened in 2006 and slowly made its way through the countries and is now in Singapore, since 2012. It focuses on the 20th Century artists that are proven to be historically significant. It holds solo exhibitions for international artists and also showcases artists from the region.

Located in Gillman Barracks, this art Gallery is a cultural hub. It hosts rich and diverse events and programmes for intellectual thought-provoking dialogues. Partners and Mucciaccia is identified for its exhibition programmes featuring modern and contemporary Italian and international artists. It is esteemed for closely working with curators to define and encourage the artistic career of their artists and to highlight their work on a global platform. The museum has its primary focus on modern and contemporary art fields with artists like Lucio Fontana, Alberto Burri, Piero Manzoni, Pablo Picasso, Wassily Kandinsky, Marc Chagall, Giorgio De Chirico, Jean Michel Basquiat, Giuseppe Capogrossi and Enrico Castellani.

Exhibitions at Partners and Mucciaccia

Partners and Mucciaccia host frequent exhibitions. Their most prominent one is the solo exhibition of Gianni Piacentino's works from 1996 to the present day. It is an exclusive exhibition that explores Gianni's most acclaimed and unique figures on the international art scene. He is a contemporary artist visioning futurism combined with art, minimalism, technical precision and intuition about speed, art and design. The exhibition was aimed at providing a contemporary vision of Futurism, combining Pop Art, Minimalism, technical accuracy and an intuition about speed, art and design.

Exhibitions here are always accompanied by a bilingual monograph in Italian and English, later edited by Francesca Pola. The catalogues here are a large critical analogy that retraces unbiased careers of the artists. The work includes drawings, projects, biographies and repertoire, historical and repertoire, historical outfits, invitations and other documents of various kinds.

Events at Partners and Mucciaccia

The Partners and Mucciaccia hold several events throughout the year which feature works of different artists, and each even has a specific theme to it. One such event was 'Imirage'. Also an exhibition by Jeffrey Kroll, this event was supported by Samsung and other eminent global partners. Presenting first of its kind artistry, this event featured Jeffrey's wedding mobile phone photography. This is the very first unification of the two mediums. Several such events are hosted by the Partners and Mucciacia and its other branches in London and Rome.
