Kiala Forest, Shimla Overview
Kiala Forest is a dense forest in the Kotkhai valley on the outskirts of Shimla, home to pine and deodar trees and occasional leopard sightings. It has marked hiking and trekking trails with restroom facilities, and works well for nature photography given the views back over the city. It's a good pick if you want an actual forest walk rather than a quick roadside stop.
