There are quite a number of Ferry facilities at the Macau Ferry Terminal such as catamarans, Boeing Jetfoils, TurboJET, Guangdong and Cotai Water Jet. Each of them have ferries departing every 30 minutes or lesser than that. With pedestrian bridges connecting each dock to the ticket booths, this is a very convenient ferry terminal to navigate through.

The Macau Ferry terminal is undoubtedly very well equipped and provides a huge range of basic as well as special facilities and services like travel agencies which are tied up directly to the Macau tourism authorities, a variety of retail shops, each of them selling varied products like medicines and first aid, book stores, apparels, chocolate and perfume stores and many others. The Ferry terminal also has a number of cafes and restaurants where the hungry passengers can go and grab a coffee or perhaps have some of their delicious food and sate their hunger. The Shun Tak Heliport

Constructed at a height of 107 feet above the sea level, the Shun Tak Heliport sits above the inner pier of the Macau Ferry Terminal providing helicopter landing and take off services to privately owned, as well as government helicopters. However, this heliport can be used only by the multi engined helicopters there are no refuelling facilities located around the Shun Tak heliport.

The original heliport built in the late 20th century didn’t have quite as many facilities as the new one and had only one helicopter landing pad. This heliport was rebuilt about a decade ago in 2008 and a new landing pad was linked to the previously existing one. Now the Shun Tak Heliport caters to the various helicopter service companies quite efficiently and provides them with world class facilities too.
