I recently booked a trip to Mysore, Ooty, and Coonoor with SPS Holidays and Cabs, with a drop at Isha Foundation, Coimbatore. My experience was a mix of good arrangements and very disappointing execut (Read More)ion.
On the positive side, the coordination by Mr. Prasad before the trip was good. He followed up properly starting a day in advance. We were also pleasantly surprised when the cab was upgraded from a sedan to an Innova at no extra cost, even though we never requested it. The hotel rooms provided were very good, and we were accommodated with an early check-in in Mysore upon request. The vehicle condition was also good.
However, the major issue was with the driver, which significantly affected our trip. The driver was extremely uncooperative and seemed intent on skipping planned sightseeing spots. Whenever we questioned or raised concerns, his behavior became aggressive. He frequently used the horn unnecessarily, even without traffic, which made the journey uncomfortable.
In Ooty and Coonoor, he deliberately skipped multiple places from the itinerary. In Coonoor, he took us to a very small outlet and misleadingly called it a “chocolate and tea factory,” but it was just a basic shop with nothing significant to see. When we questioned this, he ignored us and rushed to complete the trip.
After the trip, we raised these concerns with Mr. Prasad. He listened politely and assured us that he would try to arrange compensation. However, it has now been over a month, and despite multiple follow-ups via calls, messages, and emails, there has been no response or update. This lack of accountability and communication is very disappointing.
We paid the full amount expecting a comfortable and properly guided trip, but the driver’s behavior and the post-trip handling of our complaint ruined the overall experience.
I would advise others to think carefully before booking with SPS Holidays and Cabs.

Driver - Hemant is very experienced, polite and quite knowledgeable about the tourist spots. We had a wonderful experience with him and his driving.
