The Universal Studio is an absolute treat for your children, friends and family. The Studio features 24 attractions across seven zones, each with its own exciting theme. Walk through the different worlds of Madagascar, Far Far Away, The Lost World, Ancient City, Sci-Fi City, New York and Hollywood and be mesmerised in this wonderland. The Studio also has many mini cinemas and theatres, where it conducts various shows that are either 4D or live. Apart from that, there are several merchandise shops and restaurants.
Universal Studios have countless number of rides in each of its zones and are bound to leave you stunned. The rides are of different varieties and level of thrill. The first zone is Hollywood, with a very fun vibe and glamourous ambience. It has a theatre that screens musicals. On the right is the New York zone, featuring two of the best shows - Lights, Camera, Action and Stage 28. Sci-Fi City with great rollercoasters and rides, is an absolute favourite for youngsters. Moving forward, travel through the Ancient Egypt zone. The zone is designed in an absolutely spectacular manner with many Egyptian sculptures and pillars and has a total of two rides. The fifth zone is The Lost World followed by Far Far Away and Madagascar zones. These zones have many kid friendly rides for your children to enjoy.

I visited this one-of-a-kind theme park with my cousins and it was the best memory I have with them till date. After clicking the clichéd picture in front of the classic Universal Studios globe-like structure, we went on to spend the day visiting the rides and shows in the themed zones. My younger self was especially fascinated meeting characters from Shrek, the yellow lovable minions from Despicable Me and even Marilyn Monroe. We spent most of the day going on rides, including but not limited to rollercoasters, river-raft rides and ferris wheels. Watch out for exciting live street performances by your favourite characters!

Universal Studios is indeed a delight to visit. The adventure-packed themed park is filled to the brim with tourists throughout the year. The park offers many attractions and has themed restaurants and cafes to lounge in as well. I would recommend buying the entry tickets online. This does not make the itinerary very flexible but helps avoid long queues. Another advantage of buying the tickets online is that several websites offer discounts and help you get the best deals for the studio. Avoid visiting during national holidays as the crowd only increases.
