Cartoon Network Amazone Water Park is the world’s first cartoon-themed park and one of the top ten water parks in Asia located in Chonburi. It features 30 water slides, exhilarating rides, and attractions like entertainment shows, wave pools, surfing pools, and an extensive food court. It recreates an exciting rainforest setting with rides named after Cartoon Network’s famous characters like Ben 10, Johnny Bravo, and the Powerpuff Girls.

Cartoon Network Amazone Water Park is divided into 6 zones. Adventure Zone, Cartoonival Zone, and Omniverse Zone have thrilling water slides for adrenaline junkies while Mega Wave, Riptide Rapids, and Surf Arena are ideal for those who’d like to splash about in the water. Cartoon Network Amazone Water Park Ticket Booking

Day passes can be bought on their official website or at the venue. However, it’s ideal to book online to avail the best deals. They have many website-only value deals such as the ‘Super Value’ pack starting at THB 990 that includes a free meal and locker access and ‘Perfect Pair’ for THB 2,500 onwards that includes day tickets, one free pizza, two Pepsis, and locker access for two people.

Moreover, the website has great discounts for large groups. If visiting with a group of seven people or more, one can get discounts of at least 20% by booking the passes online.

Cartoon Network Amazone Water Park Attractions

The waterpark has six zones. The water slides are found in Adventure Zone, Cartoonival Zone, and Omniverse Zone while Mega Wave, Riptide Rapids, and Surf Arena are open play areas.

Adventure Zone has rides like the Jake Jump, Rainfall Rainicorn, and Banana Spin. All of these are exciting raft-based rides that propel you into a big pool of water. One needs to be at least 120 centimetres (3 feet 9 inches) to get onto the rides.

Omniverse Zone is said to have six of the fastest, steepest water rides in the world. They’re for extreme adventure junkies and one has to be at least 120 centimetres ((3 feet 9 inches) to 130 centimetres (4 feet 2 inches) to get on. The Omnitrix is one of the park’s longest rides at 350 metres (1,140 feet) on a circular raft that drops into the Omnitrix Dome. The Goop Loop is a free-fall ride that drops you 12 metres (40 feet) in an enclosed tube. Other exhilarating rides include the Alien Attack, Humungaslide, Intergalactic Racers, and XLR8- TOR.

Mega Wave Zone lets one lay back in the large wave pool and relax. There are cabanas available for a nominal price, free life jackets, and the wave machines assures strong waves every 20 minutes.

Rapid Riptides Zone provides a lazy river between the Omniverse zone and Adventure zone where one can drift around in an inflatable tube.

Cartoonival Zone is primarily for children under the age of five years old. It is a water play area with nine slides, fountains, and water buckets in a safe, monitored environment.

Surf Arena, as the name suggests, recreates a surfing experience through their Flow Rider machine. Whether one is an experienced surfer or a beginner, everyone is bound to enjoy the challenge here. To take part, one needs to be at least 120 centimetres (3 feet 9 inches) tall and weigh less than 200 kilograms. For inexperienced surfers, there are coaches on stand-by to give you a quick lesson.

Live Shows

Apart from the thrilling rides, another great attraction at Cartoon Network Amazone Water Park is its live shows. They include stunts, light displays, and getting to meet the cartoon characters like Ben 10, Princess Bubblegum, and the Powerpuff Girls in person. Children will love posing for pictures with their favourite characters.

The live shows typically start by 1:00 PM and can be anywhere between 30 minutes to 50 minutes long. At Cartoonival, meet-and-greets of the cartoons take place between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Other unique live shows include a Polynesian fire show at 6:00 PM every day and the Johnny Bravo Bollywood show at 2:00 PM every day.

Services

  • The park rents towels for THB 100 per person, not including a THB 300 deposit that is reiumbursed on returning the towel.
  • They also have locker facilities for THB 180 if one uses it for less than 4 hours or THB 280 for the entire day.
  • There are free toilets and shower facilities along with free WiFi for all guests. To receive the Wifi access details, head down to the Welcome Centre and get a unique User ID that applies to one device only.
  • Apart from the sun chairs to rest on, the park has cabanas that can e rented for the day including beds and fans. Rental prices start at THB 1,000.
  • Other facilities at Cartoon Network Amazone Water Park include an on-site first aid centre, and professionally certified lifeguards.
  • There’s also a merchandise store where you can stock up on swimwear, t-shirts, plush toys, accessories and more that feature Cartoon Network characters.

Rules and Regulations

  • Cartoon Network Amazone Water Park has strict rules about alcohol consumption. No food or alcoholic beverages can be brought into the park, alcohol will not be served to patrons under 20 years old, and guests under the influence of alcohol will be refused entry on rides and attractions. Smoking is allowed in designated smoking areas only.
  • Items like balls, skateboards, bicycles, folding chairs, bottles, large jewellery, and handheld camera are not allowed inside the park premises.
  • Pregnant women or people with pre-existing health issues are not permitted on the water slides.
  • All guests must shower before they enter the water and unaccompanied children below the age of 14 are not allowed inside the park.
  • To use Surfarena, guests are required to sign a waiver.

Tips

Most rides have a photo feature. Activate this service on your RFID wristband. Before a ride begins, hold the wristband under the reader at the entrance of the ride. A photo or video will be taken and sent to the email address you provide.

Foodville is the park’s open-air food court that has both local and international cuisine like Italian, Indian, Japanese, and American. One needs to purchase a waterproof credit-band to be loaded with cash in order to buy any food or drinks. Some of the delicious food available at Foodville includes coffee, ice creams, spicy salads, pizza, barbecue chicken, burgers, curries, and fish and chips.

How To Reach Cartoon Network Amazone Water Park

Cartoon Network Amazone Water Park is located at Sukhumvit Road, Na Jomtien near the seaside town of Bangsaray. It is a 20 minute drive from Pattaya and around 1 hour 40 minute drive from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. It is easily accessible by taxi, bus, and songthaew. 

Taxi/Car: The taxi service at the park entrance takes visitors to Jomtien for THB 400, Pattaya for THB 600, and Naklua for THB 700. These are fixed rates but availability is not guaranteed. 

Bus: There are bus services from Kamphenphet Road and Sukhumvit Road that can be taken back to Pattaya. The park offers shared van and minibus services for THB 150 per head. These vans can be found below Victory Monument BTS Station and they leave for the water park every hour.

Shuttle: The park offers shuttle services with stops at Naklua, Beach Road, Second Road, Pratumnak Hill, and Jomtien. Make these bookings at least 2 days in advance. If booking online, these services can be availed for THB 200 for a round-trip.
