Pulau Singa Besar is a lush green island situated in the southwest of Kuah and around 17 kilometers from the Langkawi coast. Also known as Singa Besar Island meaning "Big Lion Island", this gorgeous place is home to many exclusive birds and animal species. It is an unexplored and secluded island with almost no amenities and hence keeping the natural treasures intact in the lap of a tropical rainforest. Sprawled over an area of 1500 acres, explore the luxuriant green forest, palm trees, clear water, and white sandy beaches.

Since there are no resorts and constructed buildings, the island is most commonly visited for a camping tour.
