It comprises of 42 modern and luxurious looking carriers or gondolas including a VIP gondola, capable of holding 8-10 people each which complete 3 rounds per trip/ride over the course of about 15-20 minutes. Tips for Visiting

1. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket office at the observation wheel site directly or from their official website in advance.

2. It is recommended to go between the time of 6:00 PM and 8:15 PM so that you can enjoy the beautiful hues of the sunset around that time and the ‘Symphony of Lights’ light and sound show which takes place at 8:00 PM at the Victoria Harbour where the skyscrapers glisten with beams as they showcase the story of Hong Kong.

3. Coming before 4:00 PM can ensure the attraction to be less busy with shorter queues.

4. You are not allowed to stand up in the Gondola for your own safety so keep that in mind. However, the wheel stops several times between the rounds so you can easily whip your camera out and click pictures during these breaks.

5. You can also plan a visit here from/to the airport directly because the Hong Kong express line is only 10 minutes away from the observation wheel and this site also has a charged luggage keeping service where you can deposit your luggage while you have fun inside the wheel.

6. Bulky items, baby strollers and large pieces of luggage are not allowed on the ride or inside the carriers, so you’ll either have to avoid carrying them here or deposit them at the luggage service facility for some charge.
