Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car Price

Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car offers three categories of cable ride subjecting to the preferences of the tourists. A round trip via a Crystal Cabin fares to HKD 315 for adults, HKD 190 for children aged 3 to 11 years and HKD 235 for senior citizens above 65 years of age. While a Private Cabin fares up to HKD 3,800 for a Standard Cabin and HKD 4,500 for a Crystal Cabin ride to Ngong Ping Village and back.

Types of Cabin

Standard Cabin: This system of cabin car lets one enjoy the other side of Hong Kong, in a standard ordinary cable car from where tourists can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Lantau Plateau, The Giant Buddha and the scenery surrounding it from the side windows of the cabin. A Standard Cabin can accommodate up to 17 people in one single cable car.

Crystal Cabin: The Crystal Cabins are identical to the Standard Cabins barring the Crystal Cabin being equipped with a 5-inch glass-bottom offering the tourists with a thrilling bird’s eye view of the endless China Sea, the lush green grasslands and hills and the surrounding spots. The Crystal Cabin can accommodate up to 10 people in the cable car.

Private Cabin: Private Cabins are available in Standard and Crystal Cabin Category for enjoying the vistas of Lantau Island under the convenience and comfort of exclusive privacy. The Standard Private Cabin costs HKD 3,800 and the Crystal Private Cabin costs HKD 4,500 for a round trip to and from Ngong Ping Village along with complimentary admission to ‘Walking with Buddha’ attraction.

How To Reach Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car

The Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car terminus is located at 11 Tat Tung Road, Tung Chung area of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Various buses run to and fro from the Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok International Airport to Tung Chung area for minimum fares to HKD 4 – HKD 6. One can take advantage of the excellent service of the Underground railway's system MTR of Hong Kong to travel to the destination station Tung Chung from city centre stations of the Hong Kong Central and Kowloon.
