Hot Water Spring, Shimla Overview
One of the most sought-after places in Tattapani is Hot Water Spring. As the name of this town suggests meaning 'hot water, this chain of sulfur springs gushes out hot water on the right bank of River Sutlej.
Considered possessing medicinal values, it is believed that a dip in the hot water can cure skin diseases, joint pains, and fatigue. However, it is not a natural spring since it disappears in the month of June and July as the level of the river rises. It reappears in November and December. Also regarded as an auspicious place in the months of January and February, pilgrims visit this place for a dip in the spring.
