Seychelles Island Foundation, Seychelles Overview

Established by the government of Seychelles in 1979, the Seychelles Island Foundation (SIF) in an organization that works for protection and conservation of wildlife, natural history, and heritage sites. The SIR protects and manages the island of Aldabra and Vallee De Mai which are world heritage sites in Seychelles. Representing the rich natural heritage of Seychelles, the SIF conserves the world's largest coral atoll, the world's largest population of giant tortoise, unique birds and spectacular seabird colonies, largets intact Coco de Mer forest, endangered species like the Aldabra rail and Seychelles black parrot.
