Anse Takamaka, Seychelles Overview

Situated on the northern end of Mahe following the coastal road from Lazare, the Takamaka Bay is one of the most gorgeous beaches in Seychelles. With stunning views, Anse Takamaka gets its name from the Takamaka trees that line it. The beach is great for swimming and snorkelling as well.

Takamaka is one of the administrative regions of Mahe, Republic of Seychelles. The 15km long beach has boulders of rocks that can be climbed to get a better view. This place is visited by people almost round the clock, with few restaurants and shops on the beachside. Takamaka Bay is also home to art galleries and self-catering apartments. The Anse Takamaka Beach is extremely accessible owing to a bus stop and parking lot just 50 meters away from the beach.
