From the very beginning, everything was well organized and smooth. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, allowing enough time to explore while still feeling relaxed and enjoyable. Every destination in Bhutan felt special, and the arrangements throughout the journey were handled with great care. Mr. Bharat Gurung, the owner of Asia Valleys Tours and Travels, was very supportive and responsive. He stayed in touch during the planning stage, clarified all details properly, and made sure everything was aligned before the trip started. Even during the trip, he was reachable and checked in when needed, which made things feel more reliable. A big part of what made this trip so enjoyable was our guide, Sangay, and our driver, Dechen. Punakha Dzong: Punakha Dzong is Bhutan's second oldest and second largest dzong. It was used as the government's seat from 1953 to 1955. It is culturally significant as it houses sacred relics of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism and the sacred remains of Ngawang Namgyal, the Tibetan Buddhist lama who united Bhutan. In addition, the dzong showcases unique Bhutanese architecture and is a historic landmark.
Dochula Pass: Dochula Pass is a mountain pass in Bhutan where 108 memorial chortens (or stupas) were built to honor Bhutanese soldiers who died in military operations.
