Detailed Itinerary
- You will be greeted by our executive in Siliguri and proceed to Phuentsholing through the lush green and beautiful tea gardens in Dooars.
- Upon arrival at Jaigaon/Phuentsholing, the guide will assist with casual entry.
- After check-in, visit the following:
- The small town of Phuentsholing.
- Zangdopelri Monastery, located in the midst of the town.
- Later, explore local restaurants and enjoy the local cuisine.
- Stay overnight at Jaigaon/Phuentsholing (Elevation - 293 meters).
- After breakfast, our executive will assist you with the immigration formalities.
- Drive from Phuentsholling to Thimphu - 180 kilometers, approximately 6 to 7 hours.
- The drive will take guests along the Paro Chu (river) downstream to the confluence with the Wang Chu. Next, the road bends upstream and travels along the Wang Chu to Thimphu.
- Experience breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, and other famous Himalayan peaks, including the sacred Jumolhari and Mount Jichu Drake.
- En-route visits include:
- Gedu Town, home to the Gedu College of Business Studies.
- Wangkha Waterfall View.
- Check into the hotel.
- Evening free to explore the Mall or local shopping center.
- Overnight stay in Thimphu (Altitude: 2,320 m).
- After finishing your breakfast, we will start our day with local sightseeing and an overnight stay.

However, we would like to clarify that your hotel bookings were already confirmed and paid for in advance, so a refund was not possible. Out (Read More) of the three travellers in your group, one document was not accepted by the Bhutan Immigration Office — something beyond our control. We had already provided the list of required documents beforehand, and I was personally present with you till 9 PM, assisting you throughout the process. I also offered you an alternate travel date, which was declined.
