We looked through 5 agencies before settling on D organizers for our Turkey trip (Read More). Initially we were sceptical due to the reviews, but we were glad to have booked with them. The trip was well organised with 2 days in each city of which one day was a full day guided tour and the second day was given free for self exploration . This allowed choice for my parents to rest on the second day since they were approaching their 60s . I would especially like to thank Bhargav who maintained good contact and communication with us throughout the whole trip from the beginning to the end from the visa process till we reached back home after the trip. I also feel that their rates are economical and budget friendly compared to the other agencies we first spoke to.
One of our transport vehicles from the airport to hotel during the trip in Ist (Read More)anbul was filled with the smell of cigarettes . One of the vehicles had an airconditioner problem in pamukkale though the driver was a sweet person.

Visa for Indians: E-visa available

Top Destinations:
Istanbul: Historical landmarks, Bosphorus cruise, cultural exploration
Cappadocia: Hot air ballooning, fairy chimneys, scenic beauty
Antalya: Beaches, ancient cities, cultural heritage
Pamukkale: Thermal pools, ancient ruins, Hierapolis

Ideal Trip Duration:
4-5 days: Istanbul and Cappadocia for a quick cultural and natural tour
6-7 days: Add Antalya for a combination of beaches and city exploration
8-9 days: Combine with Pamukkale for a comprehensive cultural and scenic Turkey tour

Ever dreamed of strolling through ancient cities like a time traveler? Turkey's got you covered! Marvel at the jaw-dropping ruins of Ephesus, where Roman gladiators once walked, or explore the mystical caves of Cappadocia, carved by nature and human hands alike. With architecture speaking volumes about its history, the country lies both in Asia and Europe.

Turkey also boasts landscapes straight out of a fairy tale. From the iconic hot air balloons soaring above the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia to the azure waters caressing the shores of Pamukkale's terraces – each click is a masterpiece. Turkey's beaches are a haven for relaxation. Whether you're looking for lively beach parties in Bodrum or serene moments in Antalya, there's a Turkish beach for every mood.

Turkey's culinary scene is a feast for your taste buds. Don't miss out on the deliciousness of kebabs, the delight of Turkish delight, and the aromatic Turkish coffee. Its bustling bazaars are a treasure trove of colors, scents, and unique finds.

Ideal Duration of Turkey

The typical duration of a trip to Turkey can vary depending on your preferences and the itinerary of your tour package. However, most tours to Turkey range from 7 to 14 days. The tour may include visits to some of the most popular destinations in Turkey, such as Istanbul, Cappadocia, and the Turkish Riviera, with 3-4 days dedicated to each place.

A 14-day tour will allow you to explore Turkey in more depth, visiting multiple destinations and allowing more time to see and experience each place. Some tour operators may also offer more extended tours that can last up to 21 days or more, depending on the destinations and activities you choose to include.

Turkey is a large country with many interesting places to visit, so the duration of your trip will also depend on how much you want to see and experience. A more extended trip will allow you to explore more destinations and have a more in-depth experience, while a shorter trip will still provide an enjoyable overview of the country.

Visa and Accessibility

The visa policy of Turkey for Indian citizens is relatively straightforward. Indian passport holders are required to obtain an e-Visa before traveling to Turkey for tourism or business purposes. The cost of the e-Visa for Indian nationals is approximately $43 USD, payable online using a credit or debit card.

To apply, travelers need to visit the official website of the Turkish government's Electronic Visa Application System, fill out the online application form, and upload a digital copy of their passport and a recent photograph. Once the application is submitted and the fee is paid, the e-Visa is typically processed within a few business days.

Upon approval, travelers will receive their e-Visa via email, which they must print out and present upon arrival in Turkey. It's important to note that the e-Visa allows for a single entry and stay of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Additionally, travelers should ensure that their passport is valid for at least six months beyond their intended stay in Turkey.

FAQs on Turkey Tour Packages

Which month is the cheapest to visit Turkey?

For budget-conscious travelers, November is often considered the cheapest month to visit Turkey. During this off-peak period, airfares and accommodation rates drop significantly, and many popular tourist attractions are less crowded. Although the weather is cooler and a bit unpredictable, the reduced costs make it an attractive option for those looking to save money while still enjoying Turkey's rich cultural and historical offerings.

Is Turkey cheap for Indian tourists?

Compared to some other European countries, Turkey can be relatively affordable for Indian tourists, although costs can still vary depending on the level of luxury desired and the specific itinerary. In general, accommodation, transportation, and food in Turkey can be more affordable than in many other European destinations.

How many days in Turkey is enough?

The ideal duration for a Turkish adventure depends on how much you wish to explore. For a comprehensive experience covering Istanbul, Cappadocia, Pamukkale, and ancient sites like Ephesus, a 10 to 14 day itinerary is recommended. However, if time is limited, a well-planned 7 day tour can still capture the essence of the country, focusing on key highlights. Even a shorter trip offers a glimpse into Turkey’s diverse landscapes and historical treasures, though longer stays allow for deeper immersion.

Is Turkey visa on arrival for Indians?

No, Turkey does not offer a visa on arrival for Indian citizens. Indians need to apply for a Turkish visa either in the form of a sticker visa through the Turkish Embassy in India or an e-visa if they have a valid visa for the US, UK, Ireland, or the Schengen area. Visa on arrival is not available for Indian passport holders.

What are the best places to visit in Turkey?

Turkey is a treasure trove of attractions with something for every traveler. In Istanbul, marvel at iconic sites like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace, and lose yourself in the bustling Grand Bazaar. Venture into Cappadocia for its surreal fairy chimneys, cave dwellings, and unforgettable hot air balloon rides at sunrise. Other must-visit destinations include the ancient ruins of Ephesus, the otherworldly terraces of Pamukkale, and the sun-kissed beaches along the Turquoise Coast in Antalya and Bodrum, all offering a unique window into Turkey’s multifaceted heritage.

How to plan 7 days in Turkey?

A 7 day itinerary in Turkey can be perfectly balanced by focusing on two distinct regions. Start with 3 to 4 days in Istanbul to explore its rich history, cultural landmarks, and vibrant markets. Then, catch a short domestic flight to Cappadocia for the remaining 3 to 4 days to experience its enchanting landscapes, including hot air balloon rides, underground cities, and scenic valleys. This itinerary provides a blend of urban exploration and natural wonder, giving you a taste of Turkey’s diverse appeal in a compact time frame.

What is the best time to visit Turkey?

The best time to visit Turkey is during the spring (April to May) and fall (September to October) months, when the weather is mild and comfortable for sightseeing. These shoulder seasons offer pleasant temperatures, fewer crowds, and vibrant natural scenery—whether you’re exploring ancient ruins or enjoying the coastal regions. Summer is ideal for beach holidays along the Turquoise Coast, while winter can be a magical time in cities like Istanbul and in regions such as Cappadocia, albeit with colder weather.
