Day 1 Arrival at NJP/ IXB - Transfer to Phuentsholing
- The distance between NJP Railways Station and Phuentsholing is 170 km and will be covered in approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.
- Upon arrival at NJP Railways Station, meet with friendly staff and transfer to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan by road from India.
- After reaching Phuentsholing, check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the night at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
Day 2 Transfer to Thimphu From Phuentsholing
- The distance between Phuentsholing and Thimphu is 175 km and will be covered in approximately 6 hours.
- After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.), the capital city of Bhutan. Upon reaching Thimphu, check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the night at leisure. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3 Punakha Sightseeing
- The distance between Thimphu and Punakha is 85 km and will be covered in approximately 3 hours.
- Enjoy a delicious breakfast and get picked up from the hotel, tentatively at 8:30 AM, for local sightseeing as detailed below. After completing all the sightseeing, you will transfer to Punakha. After finishing all the sightseeing, return to the Thimphu hotel.

Day 5 Paro Local Sightseeing & Paro Tiger Nest
- Enjoy a delicious breakfast and get picked up from the hotel, tentatively at 8:30 AM, for local sightseeing as detailed below.
- After completing all the sightseeing, return to the hotel and spend the rest of the night at leisure.
- Overnight stay in Paro.
- Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest):
- It is one of the most famous monasteries in Bhutan, perched on the side of a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley floor.
- It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery, hence it is called "Tiger's Nest".
- This site has been recognized as a sacred place and was visited by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646, and is now visited by all Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime.
- On April 19, 1998, a fire severely damaged the main structure of the building, but now this Bhutanese jewel has been restored to its original splendor.
- Guests will have ponies available for hire to trek to this monastery.
Day 6 Transfer to the Phuentsholing - Overnight Stay at Phuentsholing
- The distance between Paro and Phuentsholing is 165 km and would be covered in approximately 5 hours.
- Enjoy a delicious breakfast and get picked up from the hotel, tentatively at 9:30 AM.
- Upon reaching Phuentsholing, check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the night at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
Day 7 Phuentsholing – Transfer to Bagdogra Airport (IXB)
- The distance between Phuentsholing and Bagdogra Airport (IXB) is 160 km and will be covered in approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Package Policies
- All permit fees and hotel taxes (as per itinerary) are included (currency exchange).

- Permit for Bhutan:
- Indian nationals do not require a visa for Bhutan. A permit will be issued at the entry point upon presentation of a passport or Voter ID and four passport-sized photographs for adults. For children, the required documents include a birth certificate and four passport-sized photographs.
- As per Government Holidays in Bhutan, permits are issued in Phuentsholling.
- Restricted Area Permit for Punakha / Wangdue:
- A Restricted Area Permit is required to visit Punakha / Wangdue from the Home Ministry of Bhutan. There is no charge for this permit. Please bring two passport-sized photographs and a Voter ID card or passport for each person, including children. This special permit is issued only after a guest has entered Bhutan. Permits are not issued on government holidays.
- NOTE:
- The hotels mentioned above will be confirmed based on room availability. Otherwise, we will confirm a similar category.
- This package is valid for Indian nationals from 6th December 2025 to 12th December 2025.

- DON'TS:
- Do not carry Indian Rs. 500/- as it is illegal.
- Do not bring any plants or agricultural products out of Bhutan as it is illegal.
- Credit cards are accepted in selected establishments in Bhutan.
- Important:
- Check-in is at 12:00 hrs and check-out is at 11:00 hrs.
- Guests should remain calm with drivers, as they may not be tourism-educated and come from different remote villages.
- Upon arrival, guests will be provided with local contact numbers of our executive, who will handle the entire operation.
- Please inform your guests to maintain the timing for sightseeing and transfers as advised by our executive.
- The category of rooms in the packages typically includes deluxe or super deluxe rooms.
- For an extra adult in the room, we will provide an extra bed where possible; however, some hotels only provide a roll-out bed and do not have provisions for an extra bed.
- The operator reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.
- A child sharing a parent's room will not be provided with an extra bed.

I have deducted one star as our smooth experience unfortunately fell short on the final day due to a major transport disappointment and Missed our last sightseeing. The vehicle provided for our last day towards Airport from Phuenstsheling to Bagdogra was uncomfortable, and not up to the standard of the rest of the tour. It was a frustrating end , otherwise it was beautifully curated itinerary.
Despite the final day's transport issue, I would still recommend this tour, but I highly advise double-checking your vehicle arrangements.
