After breakfast, complete the permit process and check out of the hotel. Proceed to Thimphu (approx. 165 km / 5 hours drive) via Chukha. Thimphu, situated at 2,300 meters above sea level, is nestled in a scenic valley along the Thimphu Chhu River. Enjoy a leisurely evening walk in the valley and sample local delicacies like momo kopi. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day Thimphu city tour covering: Art & Craft School, National Institute of Traditional Medicine, National Library, Handicraft Centers, Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong, Buddha Dordenma Statue, Bhutan Simply Museum, Folk and Heritage Museum, BBS Tower, Changangkha Monastery, Motithang Mini Zoo (home of the Takin, Bhutan’s national animal), Drupthob Nunnery Temple, and free time in the local market. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Punakha/Wangdue (approx. 70 km / 2 hours). En route, visit Simtokha Dzong and enjoy a tea break at Dochula Pass (3,100 meters) offering panoramic Himalayan views. Stop at Mehsina village to visit Chimi Lhakhang, the Temple of Fertility. Continue to Punakha and visit Punakha Dzong, built in 1637, and the Punakha Suspension Bridge, Bhutan’s second longest. Overnight stay in Punakha/Wangdue.
After breakfast, drive to Paro (approx. 3 hours), with scenic stops along the way. Visit the ruins of Drukgyal Dzong, Paro Airport Viewpoint, and Paro’s main street lined with shops selling local crafts and traditional attire. Overnight stay in Paro.
After breakfast, opt for a trek to the famous Taktshang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery, perched at 2,950 meters. Alternatively, enjoy local sightseeing including Ta Dzong, Rinpung Dzong, Dungtse Lhakhang, Nya-mey Zam, Ugyen Pelri Palace, and Kyichu Lhakhang. Traditional dress-up and cultural experiences are also available. Overnight stay in Paro.
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Phuentsholing (approx. 155 km / 5 hours drive). Enjoy a relaxed evening. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your return journey. Tour ends with sweet memories.

Permit Information
Indian nationals do not need a visa for Bhutan. Entry permit is issued at the border with valid passport or voter ID and four passport-size photographs. Children require a birth certificate and photographs. Immigration office is closed on weekends and government holidays.
Restricted Area Permit for Punakha/Wangdue
A special permit from the Home Ministry is needed for Punakha/Wangdue and is issued only after entering Bhutan. Required documents: 2 passport-size photos and valid ID. No permit issuance on weekends/holidays.
