Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Paro Airport - Thimphu

After completing immigration formalities at Paro Airport, you will be met by your Bhutanese guide and transferred to the capital city of Bhutan, Thimphu. En route, stop at Chuzom, the confluence of Thimphu (Wang Chhu) and Paro (Pa Chhu) rivers. Here you will see three stupas built in Bhutanese, Tibetan, and Nepalese styles. On arrival in Thimphu, check in at the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.

After breakfast, you will be taken for a tour of Thimphu City. You will visit Kuensel Phodrang, the gigantic Buddha Dordenma Statue; National Memorial Chorten; Folk Heritage Museum; Changangkha Lhakhang; and Motithang Takin Reserve. In the evening, visit Tashichho Dzong. Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Punakha. Halt at Dochula Pass, then visit Chimi Lhakhang and Punakha Dzong. Check in at the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Punakha/Wangdue.

After breakfast, drive to Paro. Stop at the Royal Botanical Garden and Immigration Check Point. Visit Ta Dzong and Paro Rimpung Dzong. Check in at the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.

After breakfast, visit Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest). The hike takes about 5-6 hours. On the way back, visit Kyichu Lakhang. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.

After breakfast, take an excursion to Chele La Pass and Haa Valley. Visit Lhakhang Karpo, Lhakhang Nagpo, and Haa Wangchuk Lo Dzong. Return to the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.

After breakfast, you will be dropped at Paro Airport for your return journey. Tashi Delek!

  • 2 nights accommodation on a double sharing basis in an AC room at Thimphu hotel.
  • 3 nights accommodation on a double sharing basis in an AC room at Paro hotel.
  • 1 night accommodation on a  Double sharing basis in An AC Room at Punakha Hotel.
  • All rooms are base category unless indicated separately.
  • Meal Plan (MAPAI).
  • Hotel taxes applicable (as per itinerary).
  • Guide/Escort charges for Bhutan portion only.
  • SDF.
  • Exclusive non-AC vehicle for all transfers and sightseeing as per itinerary. The concept of disposal vehicles is not practiced in Bhutan. The guide and the vehicle shall be available with the guests from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Airfare/train fare, insurance premium, and any other activities like rafting, archery, etc., for which supplemental charges will be applicable and paid by the guests directly.
  • Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone bills, bar bills, tips & gratuity, bottled water, etc.
  • Entrance fees for museums and monuments, upgradation charges, and optional tours to be paid by the guests directly on the spot.
  • Any additional costs due to extra sightseeing or extra usage of the vehicle other than mentioned in the itinerary will be recovered directly from the guests. Such additional costs are also applicable for usage of the vehicle and guide beyond the specified time or normal working hours as mentioned above.
  • Any cost arising due to unforeseen events like landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc. Such expenses will be recovered directly from the guests on the spot.
  • Any increase in costs due to an increase in government taxes or fuel prices or implementation of VISA fees, which increases the cost of surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
  • GST & TCS Additional as per govt. Norms.
  • Anything which is not included in the inclusions.

This package includes a 6-night stay across Thimphu, Paro, and Punakha/Wangdue with various sightseeing tours.

  • Date of booking to 30 days: the cancellation charges will be 25% of the tour cost.
  • 30 to 15 days: the cancellation charges will be 50% of the tour cost.
  • 15 to 7 days: the cancellation charges will be 75% of the tour cost.
  • Less than 7 days: total amount will be forfeited and no refund shall be given.
  • No show: total amount will be forfeited and no refund shall be given.
