Kidzania, Mumbai Overview

KidZania basically is an indoor attraction or a themed amusement park that spreads across an area of 1.73 acres. It is a fun attraction made especially for children within the age of 2 and 16. Its core concept is to have an interactive platform where children can feel inspired and learn through fun activities. The aim of the attraction is also to create a global entertainment and learning brand to contribute towards the growth of children by motivating, empowering and educating them in a unique, city-like Atmosphere. All of these activities are conducted in a safe environment. There are CCTV Cameras, medical aid, secured entry with RFID security bracelets and a controlled indoor environment to make it comfortable as well as enjoyable for the visitors. KidZania also has a highly trained and experienced staff that guides the participants through the activities and provides complete knowledge about the activities.

Here, children can learn about 100+ careers and also try their hand at them through role-play and immersive activities. The attraction also serves as a platform where brands from various industries are marketed so that the participating children get a closer view and a better understanding of the functioning of the brands. KidZania provides an in-depth experience to give the children enough exposure to the chosen career, stimulate their creative thinking abilities and also boost their confidence. Other than this, KidZania is also one of the famous party and event venues in Mumbai. Several marketing events, corporate events, launches, social responsibility events, birthday parties, etc. continue to be organized at KidZania every now and then.

Activities at Kidzania

At KidZania, the children are completely in charge and they can follow their heart to meet their aspirations. There are over 100 activities at the attraction which provide a close to the real job environment. Children can learn at their own pace and get, not just an idea, but also a hands-on experience of the profession and various industries. KidZania focusses on developing and improving important skills like Language/ Communication Skills, Social Skills, Emotional Skills, Cognitive and Psychomotor Skills, Global Citizenship, Teamwork, Entrepreneurship, Digital Skills and Financial Literacy.

The activities that they have are also designed according to the focus areas. Several Child Psychologists, Educators and Play Experts have been consulted prior to designing these activities. Hence, focus on critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration and confidence is also witnessed. Here participants would find the games and the content to be in tandem with the school curriculum. How To Reach KidZania Mumbai

KidZania is located in R City, LBS Marg, Ghatkopar West. Travellers taking the state transport buses would disembark at MSRTC Mumbai Central Bus Stand which is located about 25 kilometres away from the attraction. There are three routes that lead to KidZania from the Bus Stand, which are the Eastern Freeway, the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marg – NH 48 route and the Bandra Worli Sea Link – LBS Marg route. Travellers can choose the closest or the most convenient one.

Other than state transport buses, outstation visitors can also take a flight or a train to reach Mumbai. The airport, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, is located 9.5 kilometres away. If one is taking the roadway to reach the attraction, city buses, taxis, an Ola or an Uber ride can be a great option other than self-driven vehicles. The facility can be utilized to reach KidZania via Sahar Indian Oil Road – Sahar Airport Road – Andheri Kurla Road – Andheri Ghatkopar Road – LBS Marg.

If one is taking the railways instead to reach Mumbai or to commute within the city, they need to find a train that halts at Ghatkopar Railway Station which falls on the central line of the city’s Suburban Railway Network and is located 2.5 kilometres away from the attraction. If they cannot find a train heading to Ghatkopar, they can take a train that halts at any railway station in Mumbai and from there, they can board a local train heading to Ghatkopar. Local trains are available every 12 to 30 minutes and provide for a convenient and faster way to commute within the city than road transport.
