Kitty Su, Mumbai Overview

Located in the suburban region of Andheri East, Kitty Su is a nightclub in The Lalit Mumbai Hotel. It is considered to be one of the best places to party in Mumbai, although preferences might differ. Kitty Su is probably the only, or one of the few places in Mumbai that welcome the members of the LGBT community with open arms. The nightclub is famous for a wide range of drinks they serve and live gigs too. Most visitors find the bar staff to be entertaining, polite and efficient. They have unique recipes to make some delicious cocktails and mocktails. Thus, this place draws those who know their poison of choice and those who are always on the lookout for a great spot to party and hangout. The price range is a little on the higher side, but the socialites are sure to have fun at Kitty Su.

Some of the other notable features of Kitty Su are the ambience, the service, the music played by international and national DJs and the food. At first glance, the nightclub comes across as a different world inside the luxurious hotel because of its contrasting décor that depicts an idea inspired by the concept of finding treasure in trash. It has a blend of street art, rustic, raw and unfinished type of interior with dark coloured heavy wooden doors, an aluminium ceiling, colourful abstract murals, mood lightings, outdated ceiling fans, tables made out of old oil drums, leather chairs and sofas, etc. along with a top-end music system to provide the customers a fantastic time. The place has a semi-private section too which is called “The Salon” where one can enjoy butler service and a comparatively chic ambience with its own separate bar a little away from the dance floor.

How To Reach Kitty Su

Kitty Su is located in Andheri West, Mumbai. Those living nearby can take the roadways and head to the nightclub by self-owned vehicles or cabs. Auto-rickshaws and local buses are also available to cover shorter distances if one is comfortable taking public transport. If one is flying in, they can rent a cab to reach Kitty Su from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport which is just 3.1 kilometres away. The route leading to the club from the airport goes via Sahar Indian Oil Road – Sahar Road – Sahar Airport Road – The Lalit Mumbai.

Those located far away can choose between the roadways and the railways. A local train may not be a good option late night, but if one is commuting within the city early evening, they can head to the closest railway station and board a local train heading to Andheri Railway Station (4.6 kilometres away from Kitty Su). Having said that, one must be aware that the frequency of trains in the night time is low. If they do happen to find a train, they can get down at the Andheri Railway Station and take the roadway that goes through S V Road – GK Gokhale Bridge – Andheri Kurla Road and Sahar Airport Road to reach The Lalit Mumbai Hotel.
