Continuing onwards to Hampi - From Hospet, Hampi is only 13.1 km. You can board a local bus to get to Hampi in another half an hour.

There are several private and state-run buses plying from Goa to Hampi. Tickets can be booked online or through travel agents. To cover the distance of 320 km, it can take approximately 11-12 hours by bus to reach Hampi.

A drive from Goa to Hampi is extraordinary in the sense that one will cross landscapes varying from misty hilltops to valleys to plains. It will inevitably be an unforgettable journey. There are three primary routes which are usually preferred by people driving. The usual time taken by car is approximately eight hours and entirely depends upon the route taken.

Route 1 : Via NH67

You need to take MDR52 and get on to Darbandora-Sancordem-Mollem-Collem Road to NH748. Then follow this route to get on SH 34 in Gharli from where you get on to NH 48 in Dharwad from SH 34. After this, you need to follow NH 48 and NH 67 to SH 49 in Hosapete. Keep following the route unless you get to Hampi Bazar Stand in Hampi. This route will take approximately 7 hours 30 minutes to get you to Hampi.

Route 2 : Via SH23

Before taking this route to know that it has tolls. Get to Hathkhamba-Goa Road and turn left on MDR52 to Molem VP. Continue on NH748 after which you need to take SH 34, NH 48, SH 73, SH 23, and NH 67. This will get you to Hampi Stand in Krishnapura. This route should take you approximately 8 hours 8 minutes to reach Hampi.

Route 3 : Via SH30

Get on Hathkhamba-Goa Road and then take NH 748, SH 34, SH 28, SH 56 and NH 50 to get Hampi Stand in Krishnapura. From here drive to Hampi Bazar Stand, which is only three minutes away. This route takes approximately 8 hours 18 minutes for people to get to Hampi.
