From Hosapete, Hampi is only 13.1 km. You can board a local bus to get to Hampi in another half an hour.

Driving from Pune to Hampi takes about 10 to 11 hours depending upon the route you opt. The approximate fuel charge for the same can be between INR 4000-6000. There are two popular routes between Pune and Hampi.

Route 1: Via AH 47

For this route, you need to take Chandrashekhar Govind Apte Road, Lal Bahadur Shastri Road, and Narveer Tanaji Malusare Road to NH 48 in Kudale Baug. From here, you need to follow AH 47, NH 48, and Nh 67 to SH 49 in Hospet. Keep following SH 49 to get to Hampi Bazar Stand in Hampi. This will take you approximately 10 hours 58 minutes to reach Hampi.

Route 2: Via Pune-Solapur Road/Solapur-Pune Highway and NH 50

Take Agarwal Road, Kamala Nehru Hospital Road, and Jawaharlal Nehru Road, to Baba Saheb Ambedkar Road. Then get to Solapur-Pune Highway, NH 52, NH 50 to SH 49 in Hospet. Follow SH 49 until you get to Hampi Bazar Stand in Hampi. This journey is approximate 11 hours 40 minutes.
