Bambolim Beach, Goa Overview

Bambolim Beach is a pristine beach located in Bambolim which is about 7 kilometres away from Panjim, the capital city of Goa. It is located in the northern part of Goa and is famous for being a virgin beach, untouched by commercialization and is barely ever crowded. For the tourists who are constantly in search of untouched or unexploited beaches, Bambolim beach will prove to be a paradise in Goa. It is a favourite amongst offbeat travellers. The long coastline is perfect for taking a stroll or lazing in the golden sand under the balmy sun. The beautiful beach is a good picnic spot. You just have to pack your essentials and head to the beach on a beautiful clear day.

Bambolim has the only Allopathic Medical College in Goa. The region around the beach has some resort and hotels that tourists can choose from if they wish to stay by the beach for a few days. One may witness the routine activities of the fishermen who live nearby and also buy fresh fish from them. Since it is not as crowded as other beaches, tourists will find this attraction immensely serene and tranquil, and the beautiful atmosphere will calm jittery nerves in no time. The large expanse of sandy beach is a favourite for beach games like Football, Frisbee, and Volleyball etc. One may choose to build sand castles of build castles in the air as they laze around in the sand watching the sunset. You will be one happy soul here.

The non-crowded beach is apt for those in search of a tranquil getaway. Tourists can explore the coastline and enjoy the picturesque location. One may even sit on one of the rocky outcrops amidst the gentle waves of the sea and contemplate on life.

Bambolim beach is well connected by road within Goa. The best way to reach the beach is by rented cabs/ taxis or self-driven vehicles. Tourists can easily rent two or four-wheelers in Goa to commute within the state and reach Bambolim Beach via Old Highway or NH66.  There are also regular buses from Panaji KTC Bus Stand that go till GMC Bambolim. From GMC Bambolim, travellers will have to walk a stretch of about 2 kilometres to reach Bambolim Beach.
