KidZania Bangkok, Bangkok Overview

Sitting on the top floor of the famous Siam Paragon shopping mall, KidZania is a play centre designed especially for children to experience the real world with currency, banks, hospitals etc. It is an imaginary city replica of a real town where the kids learn to use work and earn money like adults in real life. With over eighty role plays to choose from in a huge space, the child will get a good exposure to the real world in a playful way.

Designed to help children between 4 and 14 years of age to learn different professional roles, Kidzania is a unique concept which promises fun as well as learning for the young curious mind. The child can play the role of a doctor, teacher, engineer, fireman, etc by donning the uniform and using their tools and equipment. While they pretend, the children are getting actually getting prepared at mental and psychological levels for the future in a fun way.

Activities at KidZania Bangkok

With nearly eighty activities to choose from, the kids will not be bored at KidZania. They can try playing a salesperson, beautician, court judge, photographer or even fly a plane. They can walk the ramp, attend to a patient or play the guitar and sing like a rockstar. To start off, groups are formed of around six kids and they must wear the uniform or get into the outfit as per the desired role. Kids stand to earn some ‘Kidzos’ for doing the tasks which they can save in Kidzania bank. They get to learn how to open a bank account. The kids can collect the money they had saved, while leaving to buy real things from the National Store. They can even participate in rescue operations or medical emergencies created in mock situations to increase their awareness in a playful manner.

Facilities

There is a cafeteria which offers variety of snacks and drinks. McDonalds is also situated near the theatre along with a snack kiosk which is located in front of the departmental store. The snack kiosk serves delicious popcorn, cotton candies, ice creams amongst many other goodies.
For shopping there is the National Store which is near the exit of Kidzania. You can pick up a souvenir or some cool merchandise on your way out. There are also joy basket kiosks near the Theatre and Independence Fountain which sell many products. Don’t miss the magic shop to buy some fun magical stuff for the kids.
Adults can also relax at the ‘Parents lounge’ by reading, surfing the net or by watching some television while the kids play. You can also click some pictures from the outside windows or the monitors without the kids knowing. Head to the Theatre to watch the magic show or fashion show and to the stadium if you want to enjoy watching some football.
Kidzania has elevators for the disabled which is situated in front of the Japanese restaurant and Ketchup Factory.
Restrooms are located on the first floor and second floor of the building. On the first floor it is located near the beauty salon and theatre. While on the second floor it is located near the Milk Factory and near Urbano’s house.
There is a baby’s care room located on the second floor in Urbano’s House.
In case of emergency you may head to the room for First Aid which is located near Mc Donald’s and consult the nurse.

How To Reach KidZania Bangkok

KidZania is located on the 5th Floor of the hugely popular Siam Paragon mall which is situated in Pathuwman locality in Bangkok. You can reach the Siam Paragon mall by buses with nos. 15 ,16, 48, 73. The Siam station is the closest.
