Siam Park City, Bangkok Overview

Located in Minburi district of Bangkok, Siam Park City is an amusement and water park with much to offer like the largest wave pool in the world, incredible rides, water slides and much more. The oldest amusement and waterpark complex in Southeast Asia, Siam Park City also has the famous Jurassic Adventure and Africa Adventure. Recognised by the Guinness Book for having the largest pool in the world, it almost feels like a real beach with the waves coming at you.

Siam Park City is divided into five zones: water park, X zone, family world, small world and fantasy world. With more than thirty superb rides to choose from, a day will not be enough. There are traditional Thai massages that can be opted for at the end of the day to relieve those aching muscles after a fun-filled day. With plenty of tasty options for food and drink Siam Park City keeps adding to the fun and frolic quotient all throughout.

Siam Park City Water Park

The water park at Siam Park City has the world’s largest pool which is designed to give you the feel of a real beach with waves, palm trees, etc. Sea Bangkok is acclaimed as the largest man-made sea in the world. You can enjoy some fresh water as you experience the beauty of the vast waterbody. Toddlers can enjoy themselves in the smaller pools.

Water Slides: Imagine sliding down seven floors at high speed into a flowing pool or sliding at full speed along a gigantic spiral, Siam Park city hosts such amazing stuff and much more for its enthusiastic visitors.

Speed Slider: Speed slider promises thrill and fun at the same time with its big rainbow slide that rises seven storeys above ground. It is well known for being the highest slide in all of southeast Asia and allows only those who are above 1.2m in height.

Si-Am Lagoon: Kidz complex and Ridehouse are the two complexes within Si-Am lagoon. Ridehouse comprises of the battle zone and five mini slides which promise whole lot of adventure.

Flowing Pool: The flowing pool will relax you with its calming waves and ripples as you float along the stream enjoying every moment. Children can also join in the fun along with their parents.

Mini Slide: True to its name this is designed for the children who get to choose from three slides while they slide along and splash into large pool.

You can easily hire towels, beach chairs, swim suits for the entire day without any hassle. The park provides locker facilities to store personal belongings safely.

Amusement Park

Siam Park City has rightfully earned a reputation for all that it has to offer which includes drop tower, roller coasters, swing boat, spinning rides, gyro towers and log flume. Visitors have the privilege of enjoying the rides as many times as they wish to. Organised into five zones the park does shut down for time to time for purpose of maintenance.

Known for its extreme rides like Boomerang and Vortex which are certainly not for the faint hearted, X-Zone signifies excitement like never experienced before. The rides have been designed for only those who are above 1.3 metres in height. Boomerang which is the most popular ride in the park comprises of three loops that will push you back and forth at the speed of eighty kilometres an hour. The other popular rides at Siam Park City are Vortex - one of the biggest coasters that the world has ever seen, Giant Drop - qualifies as the ride with the highest fall in all of South Asia, Balloon Race which is a heady mix of a balloon and a Ferris wheel and combines adventure with safety.

There are also theme based rides at Siam Park City like Aladdin, African Adventure - a fun trail ride where you get to see mock animals of the African jungle like elephants and giraffes from an open train, Dinotopia - the dinosaur world, and Jurassic Adventure. There are also rides like mini carousel, motorbike and mini boat for those little munchkins.

Facilities

Facilities such as lockers, and washrooms are available in the park for the comfort of everyone. There are wheelchairs, park shuttles, ambulance service available. You can also find an ATM, free WIFI and a huge parking lot to park your vehicle. Pools have dedicated lifeguards for safety of the guests. The artificial beach has ample of space under the shade of the coconut trees where people can spend time relaxing. Beach chairs are available on rent for THB 10 for a day.

The ticket includes a buffet spread for lunch which comprises of food from all over the world like Thailand, Europe and India. It offers a good variety to choose from which includes rice, pasta, soup, desserts and some delicious fruits sourced locally. Popular soft drinks are also included. There are 4 restaurants inside the park along with a food kiosk.

Dress Code

The waterpark expects all the visitors to be strictly dressed in swimwear. Same can be availed on rent from the park.

How To Reach Siam Park City

Siam park city is located at 203 on Suam Siam Road in Minburi Khannayao district of Bangkok. You can reach by private car or cab taking Serithai Road towards Minburi. Then you need to turn left towards Siam Park Avenue which lies 7 kms from Bangkapi crossing. Once you are on Ramindra Road heading towards Minburi you need to turn right to Siam Park, the landmark to look out for is the hospital of Nopparat Rajdhani. Several buses like 36K, 115, 178, 60, 26 connect to this destination. You can also take a van from Chatuchak, Pakkred, Khaerai to reach Minburi.
