If you think that Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, is only about age-old architectural wonders and its rich cultural history, then you are sadly mistaken. As a tourist, there are ample options in the city to get engaged in and spend some great time. And apart from shopping trips and gastronomic delights, there are a few amusing water parks in Hanoi that you must pay a visit to if you wish to refresh yourself and feel like a local.

Here are the few most interesting water parks which you need to keep in your itinerary while visiting Hanoi next. Let’s have a look:

1. Ho Tay Water Park or West Lake Water Park

Ho Tay Water Park is situated inside the West Lake Park and is quite famous among the locals as well as tourists. Set up in a modern entertainment complex, this water park will welcome you with several attractions like slides, pools and a lazy river. There are a total of 10 sought-after water features inside the park. The water park is open for visitors from April till November and stays closed on Tuesdays. So, once you are done enjoying dips in the water park, you can visit the amusement park in the same location where you can enjoy fifteen various attractions like rollercoasters, UFO rides, pirate ship, gaming zones and much more.

Entry Fee: VND 80,000 for those below 130 centimetres and VND 150,000 for those above 130 centimetres.

2. Vinpearl Land Water Park Royal City

This one is the first water park in Hanoi city and is the only indoor water park in the whole of Vietnam. Situated beautifully under the Vincom Mega Mall Royal City, this water park is divided into fourteen different water attractions like the superfast tube slides, twisted tube slides, diving pool, surf poo, sports pool, and much more. Although the park is located inside a shopping mall, it is still quite well run and hence, you must pay a visit there if you wish to spend some fun time with friends or family.

3. Thu Le Park

Thu Le Park is one wonderful spot to spend a relaxed day or a few hours while holidaying in Hanoi. It is also home to around 40 animal houses with more than 600 different animals of more than 100 different species. So, in case you are an animal lover and if you wish to experience some vibrant natural beauty of the city, a visit to Thu Le Park is a must. Also, you can try out some water rides as well. The younger ones in your family or kids will simply love this place.
